For the seventh edition of our culinary encounters, we were honored to feature Carlos Arroniz, a renowned barista known for his expertise in specialty coffee, representing the distinguished café Macchiato. This special edition aimed to highlight the artistry and craftsmanship of specialty coffee, reflected not only in the drinks but also in the evening’s curated menu.
The night began with Lagar de Brais, a Treixadura wine from Galicia, celebrated for its fresh, aromatic profile and vibrant acidity. This exquisite wine was paired with a prawn appetizer with Japanese mayonnaise, a delicate creation combining ají amarillo, curry, Japanese mayo, and chives. The second course featured Pasta all’Italiana, a refined dish prepared with basil, carrot, tomato, and a touch of fresh peppers, delivering a perfectly balanced gastronomic experience.
To conclude the evening, we served an Espresso Martini, a cocktail that embodies elegance and depth of flavor, crafted with Macchiato’s specialty coffee, vodka, and a subtle touch of sweetness.
This immersive experience was complemented by a selection of fine wines and live ambient music, creating the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable night.
