Culinary Nights IV, our fourth event, took place at Favela in Pamplona, a vibrant restaurant known for its creative fusion cuisine and modern take on traditional flavors. This event marked the first collaboration within our company and was designed as an opening celebration for the 2024 season. The evening featured the restaurant’s directors and head chef as speakers, who shared insights into their culinary philosophy, the inspiration behind their work, and the dishes presented during the event.
To complement the discussion, we served Casual 2024 Garnacha, a young and expressive red wine with bright fruit notes and a soft finish, perfectly suited to the dynamic menu. Guests were treated to a Tuna Tartare with Black Garlic Mayonnaise, a bold dish that balanced freshness with rich umami flavors, followed by Oxtail served with Crispy Crystal Bread, a tender and hearty dish that highlighted the chef’s mastery of slow-cooked meats. The experience was elevated with a Caipirinha cocktail, whose refreshing citrus and sugarcane profile brought a lively contrast to the savory dishes. Together, the wine, food, and cocktail pairing created a cohesive and immersive culinary journey, setting the tone for an exciting new season.
